Since 1993, Dj Sven Löve has been spreading the best club sound in Paris, in France and abroad : English and American << Garage >> and also soulful House. His favorite labels and producers are Mood To Swing, Basement Boys, Yellorange, Peter Heller, Steve Silk Hurley, Masters at Work, Nervous, Music Plant. Regularly guest-dj for the Respect parties all over the world, he also played in the most famous clubs in Paris: the Rex Club, the Palace, the Locomotive, the Temple, the Erotika, the Folies Pigalles, the Enfer and in many bars: Wax, Trésor, Opus Cafe,Wait&See. Sven used to be resident dj at the What's Up Bar during two years. He is now resident Dj at the Queen. Last but not least he organises the Cheers party with his partner Greg Gauthier every Friday at the "Dancing De La Coupole". This party is now very popular in Paris and gets more than 700 people each time.. Many famous international Dj's and singers have been invited there : Little Louie Vega, the Basement Boys, Osunlade, Kathy Brown, Sabrinaah Pope, Jay Williams, Adam Scott, Terry Hunter, Victor Simonelli, Dimitri from Paris, the Trouble Men, Patrick Smoove, Connie Harvey, Jocelyn Brown, Michelle Weeks, Arnold Jarvis, Mandel turner, Nicole Graham, DJ Spen, Deep Swing, Ron Caroll, Rochelle fleming, Lenny Fontana, Lil' Louis and Paul Trouble Anderson.. Sven Löve also played abroad, in Hong Kong, in Tokyo, in Copenhague, in New York (Legends party, Respect party), in Miami (Respect), in Moscow, in Kazakstan (for Yves Saint Laurent), in Oslo, in Geneva, in Belgium, in Carracas (Venezuela) and of course in all the main french cities. For more than four years now (more than 200 shows!), Sven and Greg Gauthier are mixing under the name of Cheers between 3 to 5 pm on Radio FG (also played live on internet). "L'émission qui fait hurler les filles" is a cult weekly meeting for all the Garage Heads. Three years ago Sven Löve produced his first title Shadow dancer with Catalan FC for the compilation Aline can dance (Enchanté-Sony). Two years ago they produced Save Me, vocal this time, with an american singer called Mandel Turner. It has been released in the winter for the new compilation Aline In Wonderland, but also as a single. A video has been made by Edouard Delluc. They produced also a title with the singer Nicole Graham for the last compilation Respect is burning, called Private Number. It has been released as a CD and vinyl single in March 99. They produced a single for an american label, Look At You records, with the vocalist Connie Harvey, the track is called Make A Joyful Noise, it was released in June 2000. You can also find a remix of the duo, on the last Greg Gauthier record, Another Door (To my heart), on What's Up Mix it records. Sven Löve and Catalan FC are now working on various projects, including an album. |
